The Kingboard Laminates Group established its first laminate manufacturing facility in 1988 in Shenzhen, the PRC, and began producing paper laminates in 1989. After that , our Group embarked on a path of rapid horizontal and vertical growth. Horizontally, the Kingboard Laminates Group expanded its production of new laminate products, including glass epoxy and flame retardant paper laminates. including copper foil, glass yarn, glass fabric, bleached kraft paper and epoxy resin. The copper foil operation based in Fogang, the PRC, was spun off for listing and listed on the SGX in 1999 under the name Kingboard Copper Foil.

manufacturing facilities in southern and eastern China and are pursuing a strategy of further expansion in the PRC to meet the growing demand for laminate and laminate-related products, demand for which is driven by the growth in the global market for electronics products.
We are a leading vertically-integrated electronics materials manufacturer, specializing in the production of laminates, including glass epoxy laminates, paper laminates and CEM laminates. According to JMS, we were the global leader in rigid laminates in 2007, with a market share of approximately 11.8% in terms of production value. We were also one of the first foreign companies to manufacture and sell laminates in the PRC.
