Kingboard acknowledges the importance of manufacturing edge in a competitive environment and has been strengthening its vertical integration prowess with in-house production capability for all major materials, from copper foil, bleached kraft paper, glass fabric , glass yarn to chemical products. The surging demands for raw materials enables Kingboard to sustain its world-leading laminate production capacity of more than 5 million sheets per month. The Group now operates nine laminate plants in Shenzhen, Kunshan, Shaoguan, Jiangmen and Fogang.
Addressing the gradual relocation of industrial operations from the Pearl River Delta, the Group has made a strategic move to establish a new production plant in Lianzhou in northern Guangdong, where power supply is more stable and reliable to fuel the Group’s continued expansion. The first phase of the glass fibre and copper foil plants, one of the biggest projects of the Group, has already commenced operation.
