| Hong Kong Copper Foil Limited is a subsidiary of Kingboard Copper Foil Holdings Limited (“KCFHL”), a listed company in Singapore since 1999. The Group has set up two principal manufacturing units in Fogang and Lianzhou with an aggregate annual capacity of 36,000 tonnes of copper foil products, including HTE, LP, BC, CTI and STD, with thickness ranging from 9~140 µm. Apart from the Mainland market, products are also exported to Italy, US and Canada.
In 1993, the Group commenced the construction of its first copper foil plant, which became operational in 1994.The Group is proud to be accredited with an accolade of recognitions over the years, including the National and Provincial Torch Project certificate in 1998, the State Priority High-Tech Enterprise certificate in 2001, the QS-9000 quality certification in 2002, a Grade-A Tax-paying Enterprise and Top 50 Excellent High-Tech Enterprise in Guangdong Province in 2004.
Through consistent development and upgrades, the Group has grown into one of the largest and most advanced copper foil manufacturers in China, and also one of the top 3 in the world.
Always keeping abreast of market demands, the Group is now researching further into new product types, such as ultra - thin copper foil of thickness below 5 µm, VLP copper foil, and specially coated high-performance inert copper foil. Such development initiatives will drive the Group to the high-end electrodeposited copper foil market.
Most importantly, the Group is recognized as one of the pioneers in operating zero-pollution plants in China. Always environmentally conscious, the management is actively working towards pollution-free semi-confined production in a couple of years, and becoming a totally green enterprise.
